CBC is committed to helping families discover the life that God intends. One way we do that is by providing age appropriate programs on campus
Sunday MorningsWe currently offer nursery care and Sunday school for children birth - 6th grade. Caring, background-checked leaders care for children during the 10:00 am service. Children aged 2 and above have a Bible lesson that fits their level of development. Kids kindergarten and older are invited to participate in the worship through music portion of adult service. If you would like to register your children for Sunday school, please click here. (Registration is also available on-site)
The Greatest Journey is a twelve-week discipleship program for elementary aged kids. Our current session starts March 2 and ends May 18. This is the program used to disciple Operation Christmas Child shoebox recipients around the world. Register your child here.
For students in 7th- 12th grades, we offer a Wednesday evening youth group. We currently meet at 6:30 pm in the Youth Ministry Building on campus for games, Bible study, and faith building conversations. Periodically (about once per month) we will advertise a special event. Please contact Pastor Cari for more information. firstname.lastname@example.org or (209) 322-5151.
The Family Faith and Fun Kit (Register Here)
Think of this aspect of the program like a subscription service from your church. Each quarter, you will receive an age-appropriate, daily devotional guide for each member of your family that focuses on a weekly family theme. The adult version of the devotional is like a parenting magazine that includes daily devotionals. The devotionals are for you, the parent, but can also be used for a five-minute table-talk-style devotion with the whole family.
Each month, you will also receive weekly Parent Pages containing discussion questions, activity ideas, and additional resources to reinforce the weekly family theme. You may also receive a craft activity, game, baking idea, or themed gadget, all of which support the family themes. Again, if you would like to receive a monthly kit, please register here.
You will find parenting tips, family activity ideas, short videos from our staff and volunteers, and encouragement on our children's ministry and student ministry Facebook pages. For seventh–twelfth graders who have their own social media accounts, we also post videos and devotionals on Instagram @cbcwaterfordstudents.
